The Firm is also launching its combination with Hawai`i's premier law firm, Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing (AHFI), expanding its presence in the US and becoming the first global law firm in Hawai`i.

The previously announced combination with Dinner Martin in the Cayman Islands and Delany Law in the Eastern Caribbean further the Firm's stated growth strategy in this dynamic and growing region. We have new offices in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago, and we also serve clients in Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Grenada, and St. Lucia.

By finalizing its combination with AHFI, announced earlier this year, Dentons becomes the first global law firm to have a significant presence in Hawai`i—an important hub for pan-Pacific trade, commerce and economic activity—and further differentiates its West Coast and California practices. Asian clients focused on entering the US, and US clients seeking entry into key markets, including Japan and Korea, will benefit from the additional resources in this gateway market.

This combination also follows Dentons’ unprecedented expansion across the Pacific Rim, including the most recent combinations in Indonesia and Malaysia. As a result of finalizing this combination after a yearlong affiliation, Dentons expands its footprint by formally opening offices in Honolulu and Hilo. The Firm now has nearly 90 offices throughout the Pacific region and 25 offices in the United States.
