Guillevin International, a leading electrical material distributor, has recently acquired Dubo Électrique Ltd., a distributor of electrical, lighting, automation and control products in Québec.

Dubo was founded in 1955, and now encompasses seven operating branches (Montréal, Laval, Saint-Hubert, Sainte-Adele, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Trois-Rivieres and Québec), as well as a 100,000-sf distribution centre. The company will continue to operate under the Dubo name and all jobs will be maintained under the new ownership.

Dentons advised Dubo, and its shareholders, on the sale of the business, with a team including Joel Cabelli, Guillaume Savard and Philippe Bergeron.
