Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons advised Bremer Kreditbank AG on financing PREMIUM Equity Partners GmbH’s acquisition of WEKA-Holzbau-Gruppe (“WEKA”). In the context of a management buyout, PREMIUM Equity Partners acquired a majority of shares in WEKA from BPE Unternehmensbeteiligung GmbH. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Bremer Kreditbank is a banking partner for mid-size corporate clients and provides, among other things, acquisition financing for the small and mid-cap segment. WEKA is a German traditional company offering wooden DIY products for gardening and wellness. The buyer, PREMIUM Equity Partners, is a venture capitalist focusing on German SMEs.

The Dentons team, headed by Counsel Tobias von Gostomski, advised Bremer Kreditbank on all legal and tax issues. This was the first time that von Gostomski advised Bremer Kreditbank.
