Italy: New provisions of the Italian Civil Code have recently been adopted, introducing – inter alia – the obligation for candidates for appointment as members of the administrative body of a limited company (“società di capitali”) to declare that no grounds for ineligibility exist against them, nor any disqualification from acting as directors adopted against them in any country of the European Union.
