U.S. News – Best Lawyers 2017 - guide has named Dentons "Law Firm of the Year" in Native American Law for the second time in the last three years. Only one law firm per legal practice area receives the" Law Firm of the Year" award.

Dentons also received a national tier one ranking and a tier one regional ranking for Washington, DC and a tier two regional ranking for San Francisco, CA. This significant achievement was attributed to the breadth and depth of the practice.

In addition, several members of the firm's Native American Law and Policy practice were individually recognized by the publication, including Alan Fedman, Suzanne Schaeffer, Heather Sibbison and George Skibine in Washington DC, and Paula Yost in San Francisco.
