The results of the Regulatory Law Firm 2017 Ranking, organized by Polityka Insight, were announced at a formal gala held in Warsaw on March 23. Dentons was the only law firm distinguished in five categories: Banking, Energy, Pharmacy, Competition and Telecommunications. Dentons' rankings improved in two categories, Banking and Energy, compared to last year.

In the Banking category, the Dentons team headed by Mateusz Toczyski was distinguished in Group 2, moving up from Group 3 last year.

The Energy and Natural Resources team, headed by Arkadiusz Krasnodębski, Managing Partner of Dentons Poland, was promoted to Group 1 in this year's edition.

In the Life Sciences category, the team co-headed by partner Karina Furga-Dąbrowska and Wojciech Kozłowski maintained its strong position in Group 2.

The Competition team headed by partner Agnieszka Stefanowicz-Barańska maintained its leading position in Group 1.

The Telecommunications practice, headed in Europe by partner Igor Ostrowski, was again distinguished in Group 3.

Polityka Insight's ranking of regulatory law firms is an annual project and the first locally driven, quality market research on law firms in Poland. The ranking involves top law firms engaged in the banking, energy, pharmaceutical, competition, telecommunication and personal data sectors. This year, Polityka Insight's analysts reviewed the submissions of approximately 100 law firms as well as the questionnaires of legal services clients operating in regulated sectors.
