The New Jersey Law Journal recognized Dentons partner Erika Lopes-McLeman as one of its 2023 Diverse Attorneys of the Year. This biennial honor is given to lawyers for their demonstrable excellence, accomplishments and impact over the past two years.

Lopes-McLeman is based in the Short Hills office, where she represents large and small insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage litigation, bad faith actions, insurance-related class actions, Department of Insurance investigations and arbitrations. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Firm’s WomenLEAD (Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Advancement and Development) Committee, and she is also a member of the Firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Lopes-McLeman is actively involved with insurance industry organizations ARIAS (AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society) and AIRROC (Association of Insurance & Reinsurance Run-Off Companies), where she is sought out as an emerging thought leader, speaker and connector.
