Dublin—Gemma Freeman, a Restructuring & Insolvency Partner, based in Dentons' Dublin office has been appointed to the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) board as its European Regional Director for 2024.

For over 30 years, IWIRC has been connecting restructuring, insolvency and turnaround practitioners worldwide through a global membership of more than 1,200 attorneys, bankers, corporate-turnaround professionals, financial advisors and other restructuring practitioners.

Speaking after the announcement, Gemma said, "I am thrilled to have been appointed to IWIRC’s International board as its European Regional Director for 2024.  This network that has done so much for women in Restructuring and Insolvency globally over the last 30 years under its 'be inspired', 'be informed' and 'be connected' pillars -  I really look forward to working with my wonderful fellow board members in continuing to work on the connection, promotion and success of our networks and members."
