Global law firm Dentons advised Celanese Groupon the closing of the agreement for the sale of its Ferrara Marconi compounding operations to Benvic Group, a portfolio company of Investindustrial.

The agreement also marks the successful conclusion of negotiations regarding the creation of Celanese's European Compounding Centre of Excellence in Forlì and the consolidation of activities hitherto carried out at other sites.

Dentons acted with a multidisciplinary team led by Partner Carsten Steinhauer and counsel Christian Fabricatore, and comprising Partner Davide Boffi, supported by senior associate Marco Prandelli, for labor law aspects, and Partner Roberta Moscaroli, supported by senior associate Leonardo Grassi, for tax aspects.
