Kazakhstan—Aigoul Kenjebayeva, Dentons’ Kazakhstan and Central Asia Managing Partner, has been re-appointed as a Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris for Kazakhstan by the ICC World Council for another three-year term, commencing on July 1, 2021. In total, the Council appointed 195 members of the Court from 121 countries.

“I am truly honored and would like to thank the ICC World Council for the opportunity to work and gain invaluable experience together with prominent arbitration experts,” said Aigoul. 

Aigoul also pointed out that recently members of the ICC Central Asian region and representatives of the Secretariat of the ICC Court held a webinar, a so-called “e-Chaikhana”, where participants, inter alia, discussed (in an informal way) the advantages and features of the ICC Court as well as sharing their experience. 

“We have decided to hold such sessions on a regular basis and would like to invite everyone interested in international arbitration to join our meetings,” said Aigoul.
