Dentons Muñoz continues its regional growth in Central America with the addition of the entire legal team from MCM Legal to its office in El Salvador. The new team extends Dentons' regional and global offering, adding to Dentons' strengths in Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Intellectual Property.

New talents

Joining Dentons Muñoz from MCM Legal are partners Daniel Martínez and Ricardo Milla, and senior associate David Aguilar. Daniel and Ricardo were partners of MCM Legal for more than 10 years. They are both recognized in the Chambers Latin America 2022 guide for corporate.

Daniel Martinez is an international business lawyer with over 20 years of professional experience representing domestic and foreign companies in El Salvador. He advises clients on foreign direct investment, concessions, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture formations as well as government contracts for projects in El Salvador and the broader Central America Region.

Ricardo Milla advises clients on domestic and international corporate law, labor law and intellectual property. More recently, he has assisted clients in the aviation and shipping industries on due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.

David Aguilar specializes in corporate law, regulatory matters and public bids. He advises both local and international clients on contracts and international commercial agreements, incorporation, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, registration of foreign investments, public bids, and regulatory matters.
