Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons, with a team led by Oliver Dreher, has again advised the German Finance Agency (Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH) on the successful placement of a syndicated federal bond. The issuance volume was €6 billion. The federal bond has a 30-year term and carries an interest rate of 2.90%.

The placement with national and international investors was carried out by a syndicate of banks led by Barclays, BofA Securities, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley und NatWest.

Oliver Dreher and his team have advised the German Finance Agency on numerous capital market transactions in the past, including the syndicated issues of various conventional and green German federal securities (most recently on the syndicated increase of an existing green federal bond by €3 billion to a total issuance volume of €9.5 billion).
