Dentons announces today that Kyle Smith has been reappointed by his peers to serve as President of Dentons Sirote for the next three years. Having held this role throughout 2024, Smith has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment during his tenure. In addition to his role as President of Dentons Sirote, he is a member of the Dentons US Region Management Committee and Board of Directors.

Currently serving as the chair of Dentons Sirote's Employment and Labor practice, Smith brings more than two decades of experience with the Firm, where he has been employed since 2001. He has been a member of Dentons Sirote’s Board of Directors since 2015 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from 2022 to 2024. During his presidency, he will continue to maintain his employment and labor practice.

Smith graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law, earning his JD, and holds a BPA in Accounting from Mississippi State University. His legal experience has earned him numerous accolades, including recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® in Litigation – Labor and Employment from 2012 to 2025, as well as being named to the 2024 Mid-South Super Lawyers list for Employment and Labor law.

In addition to Smith’s reappointment, Dentons Sirote also welcomes new leadership to its Board of Directors. J. Winston Busby, co-chair of Dentons Sirote’s Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice, has been elected to the board, joining returning board members Greg Carwie, Samuel Friedman, Donald Johnson and Gregory Rhodes.
