Prague—On February 5, 2024 the Czech Republic’s Office for the Protection of Competition (Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže) cleared unconditionally Fulleren’s acquisition of a 99,98% share in the football club SK Slavia Praha and a 100% share in Eden Arena from CITIC Europe Holdings. Fulleren is a company controlled by Czech entrepreneur Pavel Tykač.

As a result of the competition authority’s decision, Pavel Tykač (through Fulleren) will become the majority owner of the SK Slavia Praha football club, one of the oldest, most popular and most successful football clubs in the Czech Republic.  He will also become the exclusive owner of the company Eden Arena, which operates Fortuna Arena in Prague, the largest and most modern football stadium in the Czech Republic.
