Dentons advised BNP Paribas Bank Polska on financing extended to the real estate investment fund Focus Estate Fund in relation to the acquisition of the Turawa Park shopping center in Opole, Poland, from the international investment management group abrdn. Turawa Park is the fourth asset of the fund’s portfolio in Poland.

Dentons’ comprehensive legal services to the lender included preparing and negotiating the facility agreement and other finance documents, as well as analysis of the due diligence report prepared by the advisors of Focus Estate Fund.

Bartosz Nojek (partner) supervised and led the project, which was coordinated by Łukasz Błaszczak (senior associate) with the assistance of Mateusz Ciechomski (associate) from the Banking and Finance practice. Turawa Park is a multi-format shopping center with a total area of 35,138 sqm and more than 60 stores; it includes a gallery, a retail park, a DIY-format store and 1,320 parking spaces.
