In this session we dedicated time to sharing an overview about the Network Infrastructure Security Directive (Directive NIS2) and Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) regulation. There will also be insights into the European Commission’s thinking on the issue as well as the impact these regulations will have on cybersecurity from the more technical side.

Network Infrastructure Security Directive (Directive NIS2)

Together with Jakub Dysarz from the European Commission, we will answer the five most important questions regarding the provisions of the NIS 2 Directive, starting with what changes have been introduced to the NIS Directive, the relationship of the NIS 2 Directive to other regulations, e.g. European Electronic Communications Code (EECC) and Regulation eIDAS as well as the scope of the regulation.

Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)

We will discuss with Radosław Kaczorek (CISSP, CISA, CIA, CRISC), who has spent over 20 years on the technical and organizational aspects of cybersecurity, the five most important questions on how to implement DORA requirements, taking into account the resources, technologies, procedures, and standards already owned by the organization.
