Dentons announces today that Rachel Conner has joined the Firm in Indianapolis as of counsel in the Energy practice. Rachel focuses her practice on energy projects and renewable energy.

Rachel has years of experience in the renewable energy space, which includes state and federal policy and advocacy work. She provides a comprehensive approach to local permitting of projects, working to engage community members and build relationships with stakeholders. As part of her practice, Rachel has provided risk assessment analyses for greenfield energy developments, project acquisitions, and transmission and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects.

Prior to joining Dentons, Rachel practiced at Krieg DeVault in Indianapolis. Her professional experience also includes previously serving as the executive director of Hoosiers for Renewables and founding a consulting firm focused on energy and agriculture. These experiences allow her to bring a holistic approach to energy project development.
