California notice

This section applies to all California residents.

Definitions

• Personal information. Information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you or your household.
• Sensitive personal information. Social security number, driver’s license number, state identification card, passport number, account log-in and password, financial account and password, debit or credit card number and access code, precise geolocation information, race, ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, the content of your mail, email or texts other than those communications with us, genetic data, biometric information, health information, and information that concerns your sex life or sexual orientation.
• Sell, sale, or sold. Selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or other means, your personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration.
• Share, shared, or sharing. Sharing, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or other means, your personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Your rights

• Right to Know/Access. You have a right to know what personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of personal information, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, among other information.
• Right to Delete. Subject to certain conditions and exceptions, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
• Right to Correct. Subject to certain exceptions and conditions, you have a right to correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
• Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the rights described in this section.

Verification. In order to protect your personal information and prevent against fraud, some of the requests you submit must be verified. We may contact you by phone or email to complete the verification process. This process may require matching the information provided in your request with the information we have on file about you, and depending on the sensitivity of information requested utilizing more stringent verification methods, including but not limited to requesting additional information from you and/or requiring you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury. In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise a privacy right, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity.

Responding to requests. Once you have submitted your request, we will respond within the time frame permitted by the applicable law. We may charge a reasonable fee for multiple requests in the same 12-month period, as permitted by applicable law.

Authorized agent. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. To do so, you must (1) verify your own identity directly with us; and (2) provide the authorized agent with written documentation of their authority to act on your behalf, such as: (a) a power of attorney; or (b) sufficient evidence to show that you have provided the authorized agent signed permission to act on your behalf and directly confirmed with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.

Notice of collection and disclosure for a business purpose

For more information about the categories of personal information we have collected about California residents in the 12 months preceding the date this Privacy Policy was last updated, including information about why the personal information was collected, how it is used, and the categories of third parties with whom it has been disclosed, sold, or shared, see Additional Information below.

Notice of sale and sharing

We do not sell or share personal information. We also don’t sell or share the personal information or sensitive personal information of any California resident who is 16 years or younger.  

Notice of use of sensitive personal information

We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than permitted under the CCPA. Specifically, we do not use sensitive personal information to derive characteristics about California residents.

Nevada notice

If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to submit a request directing us not to make any sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, to request email confirmation that we will not sell your personal information in the future, please send an email to dpo@dentons.com with “Nevada Opt-Out” in the subject line and in the body of your message.

Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nebraska, and New Jersey notice

This section applies to residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nebraska, and New Jersey.

Definitions

• Personal data. Information that is linked or reasonably linkable to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Sensitive personal data. Information that includes data revealing racial or ethnic origin, the processing of genetic or biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying an individual or precise geolocation data.
• Sell, sale, or sold. The exchange of personal data for monetary or other valuable consideration.
• Targeted advertising. Displaying advertisements to a consumer where the advertisement is selected based on personal data obtained or inferred from that individual’s activities over time and across nonaffiliated Internet web sites or online applications to predict such individual’s preferences or interests.

Your rights

• Right to know and access. Subject to certain conditions and exceptions, you have a right to know whether we are processing your personal data, you have a right to access such personal data, and you have a right to obtain a copy of said data in a portable format. If you live in Oregon, you also have a right to request a list of specific third parties to which we have disclosed your personal data. If you live in Delaware, you also have a right to request a list of the categories of third parties to which we have disclosed your personal data.
• Right to delete. Subject to certain conditions and exceptions, you have a right to request that we delete your personal data.
• Right to correct. Subject to certain conditions and exceptions, you have a right to ask that we correct the personal data we have about you.
• Right to non-discrimination. You have a right not to be discriminated against for the exercise of your rights described herein.
• Right to appeal. You have a right to appeal our denial of any request above. We will respond to your appeal within the timeframe required by law, and provide a written explanation in support of our response and provide additional information as required by law.
