Corporate Counsel recognized partner Shari Klevens as a Law Firm Best Mentor in its 2022 Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards. Klevens, co-chair of Dentons’ global Insurance team and a member of the Firm’s US board, was honored for her commitment to advancing diversity and the empowerment of women in the legal industry.

With more than 20 years of legal experience, Klevens has led a number of women’s initiatives and advocates structuring diverse teams to serve a global clientele. As a member of the Firm’s US board, Klevens is a mentor in the Firm’s Executive Mentoring Program – a two-way mentoring program designed to promote Black and LGBTQ+ associates while educating other board members on their colleagues’ experiences. She regularly invests in the success of women at Dentons, even beyond her own team, by introducing them to clients, giving them opportunities to develop niche practices, and providing advice and guidance to help ensure that they have the tools they need to succeed at the highest echelons.

This year, Klevens received the Firm’s WomenLEAD Mentor/Sponsor Excellence Award, paying tribute to her years-long commitment to supporting female lawyers and women of color, as well as her significant contributions to the retention and development of women lawyers.
