Dentons Cardenas & Cardenas and Dentons Canada have rendered legal counsel to Sun Valley Investments AG ("Sun Valley") in the acquisition of 22.5% of the shares of Mineros S.A. The acquired shares were previously owned by Grupo Colpatria and corresponded to 67.440.916 common shares for an estimated amount of US$ 41.5 million or CAD 56.4 million.

Sun Valley is an important international investor that focuses its activity mainly on the development of investments in the mining industry in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. This acquisition represents a milestone that marks Sun Valley's participation in the Colombian market and will contribute to the development and transformation of the mining sector in the country.

On the other hand, Mineros S.A. is an iconic company recognized nationally and internationally and is currently listed on both, the Colombian Stock Exchange ("BVC") and in the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX").
