Dentons Paris has advised Bpifrance Large Venture in the new $38 million funding round of Aqemia, bringing the total funds raised by the Paris-based biotech to over $100 million since its inception.

Led by Cathay Innovation, the funding round also saw renewed participation from Aqemia’s historic investors, Wendel Growth, Eurazeo, Elaia, and Bpifrance Large Venture.

Aqemia, a pioneering company leveraging artificial intelligence for therapeutic molecule discovery, will use the new funds to accelerate its global expansion, initiate clinical trials, and strengthen its focus on key therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, and central nervous system disorders. The company’s international growth strategy will commence with the establishment of an office in London, underscoring its ambition to become a global leader in the field.

This transaction marks a significant milestone in Aqemia’s growth trajectory, equipping the company with critical resources to advance its mission of developing innovative medical solutions.
