Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons has advised Stabilus on its change of legal form to a European company (SE) and the subsequent transfer of its registered office from Luxembourg to Germany.

The advice included steering the entire transaction under Luxembourg and German law, as well as another cross-border change of legal form of a Luxembourg subsidiary into a German GmbH and intra-group share transfers in Germany and abroad.

Automotive and industrial supplier Stabilus is one of the leading manufacturers of gas springs, dampers and electromechanical drives. The company has been listed on the Prime Standard and SDAX of the German Stock Exchange since 2014. Stabilus SE has a market capitalization of approximately €1.3 billion.
