Dentons' partners have voted favorably to combine with LuatViet in Vietnam. The combination positions Dentons as the principal global law firm in an emerging ASEAN economy, and accelerates its momentum as the leading global law firm.

This historic combination follows a longstanding relationship between the two firms, culminating in a combination to further connect talent to opportunity in the key emerging economy of the ASEAN region and around the world.

Along with previous combinations in the ASEAN Region in Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia and Malaysia, this combination will establish Dentons as one of only a handful of global law firms capable of offering clients full-service legal counsel and business solutions in Vietnam, helping clients to navigate challenges in five countries in the region, and 207 locations across 82 countries around the world. At nearly three times the size of the second largest firm, Dentons is continuing to connect talent to opportunity in key markets where our clients are located.

With the new offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, this combination will give Dentons' clients access to an additional team of lawyers who can meet their needs across a wide range of industries around the world.
