Milan—Milan-based partner, Giangiacomo Olivi, has been appointed Europe Co-head of the Intellectual Property and Technology (IP&T) group at Dentons. In this new role, he will work alongside fellow Co-head Denis Voevodin - who has held the practice leadership role for the last 13 years - to lead the strategy and development of the IP&T practice across continental Europe and Central Asia. 

Giangiacomo Olivi advises top technology, telecoms, media and retail companies on a wide range of technology issues, including data management and digital transformation, data privacy as well as artificial intelligence. He is one of the most awarded lawyers in Italy and he is ranked as a top tier lawyer in the Technology Media and Telecommunications sector, including Chambers Europe 2021 and The Legal 500 (Hall of Fame).
