Dentons´ Real Estate team in Spain has advised the US private equity house Scannell Properties on its first purchase in the Spanish market. The property is a 41,500 sq.m. plot in the Santa Perpetua de la Moguda industrial park on the outskirts of Barcelona, where the company plans to build a 21,000 sq.m. warehouse. The new project will begin construction in the third quarter of 2021, and the delivery of the property is expected during the second quarter of 2022.

Scannell Properties is a privately owned real estate development and investment company that focuses on build-to-suit and speculative development projects. It entered the Spanish market last March with the opening of an office in Madrid.
