Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, was awarded “Innovation in the Business of Law: New Solutions” at the Financial Times (FT) Innovative Lawyers Awards North America 2021.

As clients increasingly look for integrated solutions and innovation, Dentons made a landmark step in June 2021 in pursuit of its long-held vision to be more than a traditional law firm with the launch of Dentons Global Advisors (DGA), an elite multidisciplinary advisory firm that provides integrated strategic counsel and support for clients facing complex opportunities and challenges. DGA now includes more than 225 professionals across nine offices in seven countries with further coverage through an extensive senior advisory network and Dentons’ footprint, in 207 locations in 82 countries. Joe Andrew, Dentons’ Global Chairman, and Elliott Portnoy, Dentons’ Global Chief Executive Officer, worked closely on this initiative with Ed Reilly, Dentons Global Advisors’ CEO.

• Innovation in Sustainability & ESG: For developing a system that incentivizes and rewards manufacturers for creating innovative ways to reducing greenhouse gas impact from manufacturing operations.
