London—Dentons is pleased to have advised the syndicate of underwriters, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citi, Morgan Stanley, SMBC Nikko, ABN AMRO and RBC Capital Markets, on the issue by RELX PLC ("RELX") of €500 million 1.500 per cent guaranteed bonds due 2027.

RELX is a FTSE 100-listed company and the RELX Group ("the Group") is a global provider of information and analytics for professional and business customers across industries. The Group serves customers in more than 180 countries and has offices in about 40 countries. It employs about 30,000 people of whom almost half are in North America. RELX intends to use the proceeds of the bonds for general corporate purposes.

This deal represents the second time Dentons has been appointed as English law counsel to the underwriters on a bond issue by RELX in just over a year. In the previous deal, Dentons advised a syndicate of six underwriters on euro-denominated dual tranche bonds due 2021 and 2024.
