The webinar will cover issues related to managing tax risks and building an effective tax function (tax governance). First, we will focus on the Cooperative Compliance Programme for companies operating in Poland in the context of the business and tax reality in 2025 and its opportunities. We will also discuss the solutions that have been developed around the programme and through cooperation between business and Polish Ministry of Finance.

The Cooperative Compliance Programme is aimed at large companies with an annual turnover of more than €50 million. During the online meeting we will discuss the status, the application rules, the benefits for companies joining the Programme and the plans of the Ministry of Finance to develop the institution. We will also present the benefits of measuring the maturity of the internal tax monitoring framework and conducting a dialogue with tax authorities.

During the webinar, the following issues will be discussed in detail:

• Tax reality 2025 and tax risk management
• What does the Cooperative Compliance Programme offer in today's business and tax reality?
• The Interaction Cooperative Compliance Programme: status, status of participants and applications, and the MF's plans to develop the facility.

• What is the Maturity of Tax Control Framework, how can it be measured and what are its benefits?
• Is applying for the Cooperative Compliance Programme a 'trial by fire'? What is the application process and what are the main practical challenges?
• Dialogue or dispute with tax authorities – which is more rewarding, for whom and when? What do a tax compliant organisation and its managers gain from dealing with the tax authorities?
