Lars Rupert is one of the founders of Catalise Energy. Catalise Energy brings revenue certainty to BESS, unlocking energy storage with bankable products and thereby accelerating the energy transition. Prior to this venture, he co-founded GIGA Storage and headed business development for this BESS developer, investor and operator. Under his leadership, GIGA Storage became the Benelux leader in the BESS market. Lars combines very strong financial structuring skills with a background as a tax specialist, advising in real estate structuring for several law firms and listed real estate funds and developers.

Björn Hofman is an associate in Aurora Energy Research's advisory team for the Dutch & Belgian markets. Founded by University of Oxford professors and economists, Aurora is the largest dedicated power analytics provider in Europe. It provides data-driven intelligence for strategy, portfolio management and investment decisions on the global energy transformation. Björn specializes in battery storage, working for Aurora's clients on projects ranging from transactions and strategy development to policy work. He has extensive experience on sell-side, buy-side and financing processes, and has developed multiple studies on grid fees.
