Dentons advised a Gulf Islamic Investments-led joint venture in its $100 million acquisition and financing of an 11-building office park in Richmond, Virginia. Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) is a leading Shari’ah-compliant global financial services firm. In their December 12 press release, Mohammed Alhassan, Founding Partner and Co-CEO of GII, is quoted commenting that: “The successful acquisition of the Glen Forest Office Portfolio marks a significant milestone in the GII growth story as we strategically advance our real estate footprint in North America.”
